Now that the Lakers failed the AD trade, I hope they trade the farm for Beal instead because I don't see Lebron + Beal beating the Warriors anytime soon.

If we ended up with both green and temple I’d be thrilled.

Does this mean the trade has been accepted?

Is Morey known for leaking, or does he run a tight ship traditionally?

Yes, they pulled it. When Capela declined our initial offer we didn't pull it, for example. Of course he declined a 2 year deal that was less than max.

Which was also not a long term max deal, which he feels he is worth if healthy.

There is no narrative. No team offered him the contract he felt he deserved....long term max $$. So he bet on himself and went where he could win, and if healthy he will likely get more $$ than he was offered from NO or anyone else this summer. Teams tried to buy low due to his injury and he gave them the finger.

That injury is no longer horrendous and he will get more than that this summer.

Hindsight is 20/20 historically its been a terrible injury. Not to mention whichever team he goes to, he's not gonna have 4 all nba players carrying him. On top of that....I would really like to see which team offers 20 mil a year, I really would.

I just want tomorrow to come sooner so threads like these disappear. According to clutchfans we will be trading 90% of our team by now.

Don't get me wrong, playoff bench depth definitely helps, my point is that I don't think it helps this team enough.
As for Tucker, he's been a PF for us, and he was a PF in college, but for a lot of his career he's been a SF. It's probably just semantics in Rockets system because he'll guard KD, Lebron, etc, who are billed as "SF."

I think he means he'll be traded in a package for Temple, look at pic

PJ Tucker is absolutely playable at SF.

    1. Forward spots are interchangeable offensively in Mike D’Antoni’s system. Especially when you can shoot like PJ Tucker can.

    2. Defensively, he is the best defender we have for elite SGs, SFs and PFs.

However you want to slant your semantics, he can absolutely play alongside a bigger PF and C in the front court.

I keep seeing this on the main page and open it to see who the Rockets are marrying.

Grizzlies/Hornets are going to expand the trade package for Gasol. That is not good. Morey has to do the trade first with Grizzlies by 5pm tonight.
This season so far, inexperienced Elton Brand is a better GM than Morey?
