Im willing to bet than this duo can take a Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka led team to 6 games, damn near 7 games.

Man, reading the replies here is just priceless. This really lightened up a tough day for me. Jeremy Lin, a generational talent...LOLOL.

I am amused that I was able to literally make you open up Photoshop and put in the time to create this elementary piece of work that is undoubtedly the pinnacle of your mental capacity. Keep 'em coming, brains.

For the rest of us, this is my order of the greatest scorers in the history of the league:
    1. Wilt "Tall Man" Chamberlain
    2. Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant
    3. James "Bearded Mamba" Harden
    4. Allen "The Answer" Iverson
    5. 2011-2012 Jeremy "Yellow Mamba" Lin
    6. Michael "Baldy" Jordan
    7. Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon
    8. Jerry "The Logo" West
    9. Lebron "The King" James
    10. Larry "White Mamba" Bird

Shouldn't have tagged me, bro. From wikipedia:

"During the first 10 games of that 26-game span, Lin averaged 24.6 points and 9.2 assists, shooting 49.7 percent from the field committing 5.6 turnovers per game. In the following seven games, he averaged 16 points and 7.7 assists with 3.9 turnovers, and in the last nine games before his season was cut short by injury, Lin averaged 13.6 points and 5.9 assists."

So the 5th greatest scorer of ALL TIME had an excellent 10-game run in the mid-twenties. Apart from that, he was decidedly mediocre as an NBA starter.

Even just looking at the one single season you judged him by, he averaged only 14.6 ppg in the 35 games he played.

14.6! That puts the "average" in average.

I can't be certain, but I'm beginning to think your criteria might include some bias.

    How many games was Linsanity?

No need to answer. The fact that question needs to be asked is all we need to know about this thread.

btw, @rockbox and @Invisible Fan need to be banned for 'liking' this thread. Reported.

Look, I don't care if you want to embarrass yourself by ranking a guy among the all-time greats for half a season.

BUT - can we stop trying to make Yellow Mamba happen? And worse, White Mamba. Why drag Larry Bird into this? Kobe created the nickname Black Mamba. That goes against the laws of nicknames. They can't be self-appointed.

At one point during the 2013/2014 season, Corey Brewer averaged 50 points a game.

He's got to be top 10, man.

So you are just messing with people at this point right? This is such a bizarre take.
