Even the Knick player tried to guard the ball and waited for 2 bounces before the stupid play registered in his head lol...
Because this foolish thing has happened, it's useless to complain and abuse. I think pj's heart has scolded itself ten thousand times
lulz Eric. You could help defend the play after the blunder...instead of walking away in disgust, cursing and throwing your arms up. plays not over, dude.
Possible explanations: 1) as I mentioned, trying to force a corner kick to run out the clock like in soccer, even if he got a yellow card 2) He thought the ball was going to roll foul 3) Thought that if he touched the ball Sauron would come through the other side and turn him like he did to Saruman via the Palantir.
Wait, this is the guy the people in the know said we shouldn't trade for Butler? Lol what a joke. This guy is blowing all of his money on cars and clothes (over 10% after tax income on cars in 6 months), I can assure you he will be broke and asking Harden for money in 4 years. This easily could have resulted in a loss, and after losing to some horrible Eastern Conference teams we cant afford this type of play.
PJ was just trying to take his defense to another level, he wasn't going to let ANYONE touch that ball, not even his own teammates
PJ was a disaster tonight. In the last few minutes, he bricks a wide open three, commits a foul on a three(really a two, but the refs screwed us), stands there staring at an inbounds pass, nearly commits a backcourt violation, and nearly fouls a 3-point shooter with the team up 4. If there's ever been a worse couple of minutes for one player in an NBA game, I've never seen it.
Looks like he thought no one was around except Harden and he was going to let him pick it up. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
