Not sure if anyone has touched on this "gem" of a program....it has to be ranked up there as one of the worst talk shows in history. Move over Chevy and Magic...John Henson needs a seat. The writers are terrible and Henson couldn't deliver a funny line if his life depended on it. Bad show!!!
Possibly you don't 'get it' as you are not part of their target audience...which, from what I've seen, we can presume is intoxicated brain damaged frat boys.
The show sucks, but John Henson rules. He was great on Talk Soup. I feel sorry for him trying to do a ripoff of The Little Boy Show, I mean The Man Show.
Can the shows possibly be worse than the commercials for them? I could've sworn that Henson was funny on Talk Soup though. Maybe because I was 14...
Greg Kinnear was funny on talk soup as well. Now, I just want to pimp slap him whenever I see him on television.
Talk Soup was all about the writers. Any comedian who does not have good writers or cannot write good jokes himself will fail.
It almost seems like Henson is trying too hard. Some of the content might be funny if he delivered it differently. Throwing in an "unh-huh" after every other statement gets old. I thought Fox's self-promotion of their crappy shows during their football games were ridiculous...but every other commercial on SpikeTV is one about The John Henson Project. You know it's bad when they advertise his show during his timeslot.
If you guys listen and look closely you'll notice that the some of the same producers and writers from Talk Soup are on TJHP.. It's off to a rocky start, but I think it could be a hit with a little refining.
