Harden is super spicy!!!! This is what I wanted from Harden when addressing the media. New Year, New Harden.. Harden LITERALLY has to be the MVP for the Rockets to compete. Harden maybe hungry for it, but the Rockets falling over, starving for it. HARDEN WAS FAT OVER THE SUMMER AND THAT'S REAL!!! COME @ ME.
I remember before the Harden days and after the Olajuwon days, it always irked me that I didn't get to see an all-time great all the time. I remember hoping Yao or T-mac would be those players, but their injuries did them in. I'm super happy that I been able to witness Harden for all these years. I still remember going to his introductory press conference! It's been great watching him grow as a player. There are few times that players reach greatness and it has been a freaking privilege watching Harden perform. I know we all are all familiar with the shitty playoff performances, but he has also had some damn good games in the playoffs as well. I hope that this year he is so focused in that he can take us to the promised land. Even if we don't ever win a championship, I'll always enjoy this period of time that we had Harden as our best player. It just doesn't happen often that you get an all time great.
So I’m one of those weird guys who likes to root for villains. Love the bad guys in comic books and wrestling. The fact that James is embracing his role as the NBA’s villain is just awesome. Didn’t think it was possible for me to love him more.
Newb. Try watching the Astros, Oilers, and Rockets while making do with just Aeros championships over the course of 33 years before you bring that 25 year mark in here.
Normally i'd frown upon a guy saying something like that, but when you are the reigning MVP and playing like an all time great... It's perfect.
I don't see how he is playing the villain. He was asked questions and he answered them very plainly and honestly. It only seems edgy because it flies in the face of the nonsensical media narrative. Also it's swaggy as fu*k.
If he can get top seed in the West and second best record overall while putting up the kind of stats he's doing now, I can think he can pull a 2006 Nash.
