This team just needs some Green House Rivers to be contender, just shows how good Harden is.

 

FIRST OF ALL...Hayward should've let Capela go on that last dunk, Capela could've been seriously hurt and Hayward of all people should know better.

Anyway, I've noticed two things during the recent successful stretch that make me happy, one is that the rebounding is back. Offensive boards allow the Rockets to have more open threes because the defense is out of position, and defensive boards allow for more cohesion and rewards good defensive efforts by the players.

The other thing is that the bench is performing pretty well (or at least serviceably), and Green seems to go on a hot streak once every other game now. That allows D'antoni to actually have some semblance of a consistent rotation, which is great for, uh, everything.

and lol Harden got 45 points and wasn't even sweating that hard. I'll bet everyone talks about his FT attempts without realizing that he couldn't buy a free-throw for three quarters.

Are we now already better than last year (with a healthy CP3) ? With Gordon shooting normal I would say 100%. With Gordon shooting below average but a healthy CP I would still say yes

Harden should be a 4 time MVP.

 

Harden was amazing because he scored 45 and stayed focused on the defensive end. I don't remember him getting caught on a backdoor pass once this game, which he is usually good for one per game.

He cannot be legally guarded at the three point line, and that's why all these defenders are pissed off. They can't do a god damn thing when he's sizing them up except undercut or hit him on the arm.

Nene gave great minutes while he was in, and dished out hard fouls to make them work for it at the FT line.

 

It won’t be Morey. It will be Tilman’s cheap ass.

 

These new uniforms are fire BTW.

Rockets dominated on the boards 54-38 including 16-7 on the offensive boards...the rebounding has been so much better lately...Capela with another great game of 24 and 18

we shot 40% from deep (18-45), and Rivers continues to be a much needed spark for us...I have grown to love Austin Rivers and Idc who judges me

Harden, I have no words...I am in awe...he just dropped 40+ on the defenses of OKC and BOS...he has reached another level...I will be having some GOAT biryani tomorrow in honor of Harden
