My only problem with this is I’m not certain which Austin rivers we will get. The one from the clippers proved to be a solid player. The one from the wizards has been awful. Could be just that team dysfunction or he just sucks and was being propped up by doc rivers.
I have no problem with this signing. CP3 signed off on it, he has skills & plays decent D. I say give it a chance, if he sucks cut him!
Not a fan of Rivers, but I still like this signing. As others have said, he likely plays the role Morey envisioned for MCW and is an insurance for the third string PG spot if Knight gets traded. At the very least, he helps the team out in the short term as an option while Paul recovers from injury. Now, if Morey can figure out how to get some frontcourt help.
Given the expectations after last season, this season has been a nightmare and a complete failure by Morey. Both Melo and Rivers joining the team in the same season lol..... ouch!
Don't come over here and **** this up thinking you're the **** and deserve to be here. Soon as Paul gets back go sit your ass down and cheer for the Rockets from the sideline. Good signing tho.
With Paul predictably injured yes they need him at this point. Would you rather see MCW and a washed looking Knight out there getting minutes? Harden has no real help in the back court right now. Don't think Rivers is anything special but he's needed at this point.
And that by itself shows you the sad state of this team....when you are left to declare that the team needs Austin ****in Rivers lol...
Too funny. This is the reason for the tunnel attack in LA. ROCKETS in desperation mode because all the off season pickup SUCKS. At this point they may wish to have Anderson back with the rookie they pick up in the 2nd. They can't get rid of Knight and the other guy is useless or he would be playing more by now. No chance Rockets are contenders this year and looks like the $140 million gamble is a bust. CP3 is old and gets hurt too much. Like that DB Texans pickup. Travon Webster....
