You sound like a guy that has taken an ethics/philosophy class at some point. You couldn’t be more spot on.
Every star gets calls but, yeah, they missed this one and now everyone will use it to label Harden the enemy of the NBA. SMH. Haters will point to it for the next 10 years and say Harden ruined basketball. Whatever. Rockets get the W so it is what it is...for now. Anyone else a bit concerned for when the playoffs come around? The Cp3 / Harden combo is reaching Nazi-level hatred around the NBA. I'm expecting some unfair referee BS during the playoffs to remove these "undesirable" Harden plays and to "make up" for these types of criticisms. Harden will probably get his free throws against the Blazers and Clippers, but watch how fouls will no longer be fouls if the Rockets play the Lakers and Warriors.
The bigger question there is WHY the refs didn't call it. He's not trying to pull one over, and get away with anything there. It was a mistake that he made in the flow of the game, and now he's getting murdered as if this is ALL he does on a 24/7 basis in the league. It's bullshit, and a direct result of referee incompetence.
The reason for that travel isn’t due to poor foot work, but because his initial step back didn’t take him outside the 3pt line, forcing his foot to take another step back.
lol where's this fukin rodent's tweet about the blatant makeup call he immediately got gifted right after?
Forgot? they never acknowledged that was at least part of the reason the Rockets lost. 27 missed threes is all you hear from the media.
The ref, who was responsible, was watching to see if contact was made on the shot... in other words looking at the top half of harden's body and not his feet. The ref was a few feet from the play so his vantage point was limited
Usually the most hated teams do the best so i say bring on all the hate. We weren't getting much love from the officials in the playoffs anyways
26 26 28 29 29 31 32 Those are James Harden's scoring averages each year since he joined the Rockets...... each year his scoring average has gone up. That is 7 seasons of basketball and he has AVERAGED over 28 points a game during those 7 seasons. I don't give a damn if he traveled in a game where he willed his team to victory by almost dropping 50 points.
