I am knocking on wood here but are any of you guys worried about injuries? no question that we have been playing great basketball and we are surely on pace to make the playoffs but one of the reasons for that success is our relative injure free season thus far (to our key players at least). If you take a look around the western conference, the majority of our competitors had very serious INJ issues. Lakers- Shaq, Kobe, Malone Kings- Cweb Phoenix- Amare Dallas- Dirk and Finley both missed some games Minny- Kandi (starting C), Szerbiak Utah- AK47 and Harpring have been out Thoughts?
This thread is seriously bad karma, and it needs to be closed. It's a valid point, and I'm sure everyone thinks abotu it once in a while, but it's no good discussing these things. If someone wants to debate the ethics or validity of this type of post, let's do it in the Hangout or D&D. As for this thread regarding the Rockets, I say close it, or let it die (no offense at all to you hikanoo).
Dude, thanks for jinxing the team. Don't forget to close the door on your fingers on your way out. Why would you start a thread like this? .... I am not saying I don't like you as a poster...just this isn't a cool subject to talk about. For once this season we have had no injuries....
I was thinking about the injuries and how lucky we have been this year, cuz basically the only injury now is AG, and we seem to be doing o.k., and there is no such thing as jiksing a team, stop being so supersticious!
I dunno whether to take the other team's injuries as a knock on how we'll we've been playing lately or not. We've had more then our fair share of injuries that are worth commenting. EG debacle. (injury in my mind.) MoT shoulder separation MoT 6 game suspension A. Griff injury Pike injury We're a team that relies on all these guys, especially MoT. I believe we lost to a couple of teams during his suspension that we normally would of beaten if we could of just used his offense. I think it was during that time that Toronto beat us, and Cato had a butter fingers night catching the ball, and making bad defensive switches on the wrong man that lead to Bosh's big game against us, and our eventual loss.
Oh yeah, lock this thread in a world class safe, then burn it into liquid hot magma and never utter the words written in this thread again.
