Some dudes just don't get it...i was about to post this but i can link it to your post, i was thinking about what the hell was passing on Melo's mind watching the game in Denver and this one, is he really thinking something like "they don't understand how to use me" or some similar bs? I just don't get how you can be so delusional/dumb at 34, after so many years in the league and after a ton of people said there's something wrong with you and/or the way you play...at some point you're going to watch yourself in the mirror or not? I guess some guys just can't deal with their ego or they're just too dumb, just look at Dwight...and i like/d Dwight, but man, such a waste of a player...
well if you grew up like him and from a teenager everyone was fawning over you and you had millions of cash, starlets and models begging for one night stand and millions of people being your fan, then your sense of self would be a little ..skewed. Narcissism doesn't get better with age and that's the reason why many athletes after retirement suffer from depression.
Not my point. It doesn’t make any sense to keep him on the roster if were “parting” ways. Strange arrangement for sure.
Actually, it should. Earth the planet gets capitalized, whereas earth the stuff you plant flowers in does not.
My goal is a championship my ass. Chasing minutes and shots is all this dude cares about and at this point in his career it's sad. Good luck in China.
yea kind of reminds me of how mark jackson always says some guys only want to win on THEIR terms. they wont sacrifice anything of themselves to make it happen.
Chris Webber during the broadcast was talking about Melo like "if he's looking to win a championship, he should join ____". His decision to leave the Rockets clearly has nothing to do with a championship. We still have no idea what actually happened behind closed doors. I'm just grateful that it was handled quietly and the team is taking care of business on the court.
Carmelo just didn't fit. We made the right move to release him, and it's best for Anthony. I wish him well.
This. He seemed to try to fit and seemed to play with effort and had a good attitude. But we clearly tried to cater to him and it screwed up our flow on offense and he just can’t play D like we need. Best of luck elsewhere.
