    Ah, shoot. History will call it "after 10 games." I was really hoping we'd call it after 11 games (which is when the news broke) because that would mean:
    • In Nov 2015, Rockets were 4-7 when they fired McHale
    • In Nov 2018, Rockets were 4-7 when they decided to cut Melo

    He is trying to find a team that will let him jack up a lot of shots to he can get his points.

    Winning was never a priority for him in his career.

    So I’m guessing the Rockets are waiting until there is a team that says they will claim him once waived? Or they are waiting for a team to have an open roster spot? Otherwise I don’t see the reason for not waiving him immediately.

    Only way we get a 2nd rounder back is if Morey can pitch Melo to the market as a Tank Commander, to help a team tank for Zion.

    Then have the worst teams compete for his services.

    ESPN could air the decision as a show: The Incision.
