I completely disagree --- what we are missing is strong, determined agressive, smart play.

Jimmy Jackson and Mark Jackson appear to help with this I think our young core can learn alot from them and from Charles Oakley.

If Yao could get a little Oakley in him he would be unstoppable

According to the Toronto Sun:

Oakley said he isn't looking to make his return to the NBA until around the all-star break in mid-February, although he may decide on where he wants to play sooner than that. His first choice would be to play for a team with serious championship possibilities -- the Raptors don't qualify on that front -- and he wants to see if any of those clubs come knocking before he commits elsewhere.

"It's not about who you are playing for, it's about the people you are playing with," said Oakley, whose three years in Toronto ended in stormy fashion when the Raptors shipped him to the Chicago Bulls in the summer of 2001. [...]

Oakley's decision on where to play obviously will be based on his options.

"It has to be a good situation," Oakley said. "It's about the team, not about money. It's about going to a place where they want me to help make the team better. I ain't a superstar, but I know my game."

To this point Oakley has turned down offers from the Houston Rockets, whose coach, Jeff Van Gundy, is familiar with Oakley from their days with the New York Knicks.

"Houston wanted me in December, but it was too close to Christmas and I decided to wait," Oakley said.

It may well be that since acquiring Weatherspoon, the Rockets are now no longer interested.
