It's all said and done now... plus I still drafted the guy(s) I wanted. But for the record and future draft purposes, if someone has back-to-back picks, they CAN'T be skipped unless they have been gone 12 straight hours. Technically it's still my pick since I have a second chance to make a pick. Same would go for the last pick. If they have back-to-back picks at the end of the order they should never be skipped unless they are gone for that same amount of time.
One time someone said you only get 6 hours, because I was threatening to filibuster until the last possible second on my back-to-back picks just to teach everyone a lesson. But I forget if that was this league or the football one. Anyways... Plowman offered me crow futures and Embiid for Jokic. Thoughts?
Bookend picks have always only gotten the standard time. If one searched back through the 18 year history of the league, there is precedent, although I don't recall offhand when it was decided. Perhaps even by the Man BobFinn* himself..
Fades right that is how these drafts have been for a long time, we changed that awhile back... I believe it was actually in the basketball league we initially changed it and carried it over to football and baseball.
Well it's been a while since we've had a slow draft for basketball. I think the last time was the year I won it all. So about 3 years ago.
