i dunno what has caused this, but for the past month or so my scalp has been itching. its mostly on the back of my head. my mom was saying if i take showers that are too hot then that can dry out my scalp and cause the itching. i've always taken hot showers though...i dunno. the back of my scalp would seem to make sense since i stand that way with the water hitting the back of my head. any ideas?
Get some Selsun Blue and make sure you rinse the hell out of your hair. Sometimes not getting all the shampoo out can give you an itch, so rinse it for an excessively long time. If that doesn't work, I guess see a doctor.
The long, hot showers thing is true, try to avoid them, See Dr. Rob: http://health.discovery.com/centers/skincare/conditions/dryness.html
I hadn't really thought about dry skin before. My elbows were really dry a month ago and itched like the devil. Because they were white and flaky I almost convinced myself that it was some sort of skin fungus. Tune in next time for another installment of things you'd rather not know about Relativist.

heheheh. that reminds me of something at my job in atlanta. my office was pret-ty nasty. it was rare, but sometimes i would bring tupperware from home, eat my lunch, not clean the tupperware, and just leave it sitting in my office for several months. one day i noticed nats or something flying around and sure enough i left the lid on one of the containers open. i ended up taking it to my bosses office, opening the lid, and letting all the nats or whatever they were out. a little later he came around asking if anyone else had a bug problem in the office. heheheheh. had to be there. the bugs looked like those in this picture. there were also these weird egg looking things. anyway, robbie... head and shoulders works for an itchy scalp. if that doesn't work, use tons of blue star ointment and sleep with a showercap on so it doesn't grease up your pillow. hopefully your hair won't fall out, but i'm sure it'll get rid of the itch.
hmmm that would explain some other things too...but i don't think my attraction to men makes me homosexual
