so its pretty much confirmed. he wants to be the face of the franchise and get paid max money. Hard to blame him. that's what he's been working for the last couple seasons
Yeah it’s the $80 mil we gave Harden and Paul. LOL. These guys aren’t going to play for less than Max.
I could reluctantly agree to giving up EG, but giving up PJ would hurt our defense in the front court a lot. Other teams have better chances to acquire him, so it may be a moot point.
Yup. Max money in the NY or LA market. And the fact the LAKERS aren't on the list (as an LA team) is pretty interesting.
Blah Blah Blah - LeBron and Butler talk a good game about wanting to play with "the right type of players" but their "underlying motivations" are different.
Kyrie and Butler will be playing together in BK or with the Knicks...book that I can’t lie...the Knicks being good again and Kyrie playing his home games at MSG will be fun
This situation has me thinking in several directions. 1. If Miami is in the running and we are not, should we hope that Minnesota doesn't want Winslow? I honestly don't see how Winslow would fit on Minnesota's roster or Miami's after this trade. Count me in as a facilitating trade partner if we could add Winslow to Houston. (Of course, adding Butler directly to the Rockets would be fine by me as well.) 2. With some of the assets that we now have (in the post Anderson era), we can at least drive the price up on a Butler trade. If this is a three team race, they should all have to spend more. 3. Is it just me or is it weird that Butler can deliver a list of prefered destinations? Does he actually have any leverage here? He has a player option in '19 but that's it.
