If Melo proves to be a worthy asset. Next year they can either 1) sign him to Vet Min +120% raise. or 2) use all or part of the Tax-MLE on him.
Worth noting, Ennis signed a 2 year deal with the 2nd year as a player option. SO, if Ennis out performs, he would likely turn down his 2nd year and the Rockets would need to use the MLE on Ennis as well. So, it will be interesting to see what happens there.
