    pretty sure OP needs to edit his thread title. "Signs" implies paper and pen and a signature with said pen on said paper. As in "signed, sealed, and delivered." None of this verbal agreement bull shitte

    Sure. I’ll edit it. I wonder if anyone has ever said “player x signs with Team y” during the offseason even though they didn’t technically sign their contract that day.
