Melo could be such a nice weapon off the bench...if he embraced that role he could be pretty valuable
I just want him to embrace being a more effective shooter. I could care less which role it comes from.
This, I'm all for Melo accepting a bench role, but I'm 99% sure his ego won't allow it. We may have to trick him into sitting first, which would stagger his minutes with the backups to a greater degree.

Starting group sets the tone, having a strong defensive tone to start the game is important. That's just how I see it personally, and it's why I'd prefer Melo to come off the bench with Tucker/Ennis starting at the forward positions.
Stagger it so 2 of 3 are on the floor at all times. That's 96 mins needed or 32 mins apiece. Plenty of time for them to play together and be staggered.
