    This whole situation is pointing towards a big trade Lakers are trying to build up for. Could they be finalizing something with SAS to get Kawhi or trying a three way trade? They are now doubling up on position players with each signing...

    Yes but they also signed a ton of other guys too, KCP, Javale, etc. If they can flip Deng into a team with cap space they'll have money, but how much is Boogie slated to make?

    As of now its looking around 25 million if they can trade for Kawhi which would be good for even potentially a third guy to come on board.

    What the hell are the Lakers doing? This does weaken New Orleans, so I'm fine with that. If the Rockets hang onto Clint and Luc and find a replacement for Ariza, it's basically them and the Warriors and then everyone else.

    The only reason for going with Rondo over Randle would be that then can trade Rondo. I don't see how Rondo helps this team.

    I once said that the Thunder have a chance if Carmelo gets hurt...

    ...so if Rondo, Lonzo, or Stephenson gets hurt, I think the Lakers have a better chance...
