    Don't overpay him. I was thinking about E. Payton rather than him. He might be okay with the vet minimum
    as a last resort.

    Because he averages a steal per 15 min, is a good passer, and has the length to play multiple positions?

    oh ...and he's got a history of success against Golden State.

    I love Elfrid Payton’s game. Not a shooter but a very smart and patient offensive player with length and quickness.

    We all make fun of MCW but he’s not terrible. I definitely think he just needs the right team and situation. And for a vet min deal, we could do a lot worst.


    He’s 6’6 with extremely long arms, so his defensive potential, especially on a switch friendly team like the Rockets, could be very valuable. He’s very good at ball pressure and helping weakside.


    He’s not a shooter but he can exploit the defense by driving and taking mismatches in the post. I remember he torched Bev a couple of years ago when he was on the Bulls.


    Personally, I think he’s game is in the mold Shaun Livingston. He would be a nice 4th guard for us that can actually guard SFs without giving up height.
