Don't want him but yeah they aren't paying the 70+ million its going to cost them(salary+luxury tax) to keep him
I bet with a healthy Robinson OKC can win in the 50's and be a tough out in the playoffs. If I were an OKC I would be ok with this after losing Durant.
That’s it, get some minimum level shooters and they can be solid. Russ can win games by himself, they could win a lot more if he can learn to play with his teammates too. Massive show of faith from George.
Their record wasn't great with a heathy Roberson. Unless Westbrook becomes more efficient or comes off the ball more then I'm not worried about them.
i would too but that payroll is going to be killer for them especially in a smaller market. I am pretty sure they are going to stretch Melo out at this point
Was Melo at PG's party? I didn't see him. Westbrook travelled 8 hours to get there, so if Melo didn't even bother that means smth.
Wouldn't totally shock me if they trade him. I could see the Lakers trading a protected 2nd round pick for him which would save the Thunder a TON of money if Lebron signs in LA.
I remember Byron Scott smiling ear to ear a couple of weeks ago dreaming up a Lakers team of LeBron, Paul George, and Chris Paul. And it wasn't about those guys wanting to go to Los Angeles, it was about the Lakers having their choice of free agents after landing the "King."
