Lebron losing Love is more comparable to what the Rockets are experiencing than GSW losing Iggy that's for sure.
playing 48 minutes in your 15th straight season at 33 years old in a game 7 on the road in boston is crazy.
It's crazy because I'm kind of glad Celtics didn't win. Not because the Cavs are a better match-up if the Rockets get to the finals, but because the Celtics won't get another chance to get a chip with a patchwork team after having NBA dominance for decades. screw the celtics.
The reason for the FGAs is because they dominated two key stats that I watch in every box score: O-rebs by 11-2 and TOs by 12-5 (Cavs had more). Despite these huge advantages, they found a way to lose. I said before game 7 the Celts would win easily if they could hit shots. But since it's a game 7, they would likely struggle at some point. The fact the Celts could not build a big halftime lead made the outcome fairly certain from my standpoint. LeBron paced himself nicely in the 2nd quarter and was content to watch his teammates build a house laying bricks because the game remained close.
Lebron was great but this Cavs team is so bad. If the Rockets can manage to win the game tomorrow we are taking the championship this year.
LeBron might as well stay with the Cavs, even if they get creamed by the Rockets or the Warriors in the Finals. The Cavs are alot closer to a title than team he could join, outside of Houston.
going from GS’s defense to Cleveland’s will be such a breath of fresh air for the team...open lanes for Harden all day with minimal resistance at the rim...alley oops to Clint will be back, and uncontested threes everywhere even a scrub like Ryno could get some PT here and there in that series
Philly? The Cavs roster has no upside, they’ll get worked by Boston next year with a healthy Kyrie, Hayward, and an even better Tatum and Brown.
I didn't have a particular favorite in this series, but the Rockets better pull it out tomorrow or the NBA is going to be screwed with yet another Warriors/Cavs finals, which will most likely be a Warriors cakewalk.
We are not beating Lebron without a healthy CP3. If we manage to beat GS then Lebron will have his 4th ring. I hate Lebron but he plays hard on both ends. Harden not so much.
Quite the opposite. While the Warriors likely win, it's the matchup with the most stars and juicier storyline for them.
