I will go to my grave, until someone proves me wrong, with the firm belief that Gish is their best album.

I'll pay money to see this tour.

Why do you say that, out of curiosity? I've always thought that Corgan seemed like an aloof prick, but I've never really listened to Maynard talk.

If someone was more into grunge I could see them liking Gish more. But as a pumpkins fan, my favorite band, Siamese Dream is the greatest album ever. Sweet Sweet is the only
Meh track, and Mayonaise and Hummer are both in my top 5 favorite tracks by them.

    Siamese dream
    Adore
    Mcis
    Machina
    Gish
    Pisces

    hear, hear!

Yeah, the singles on that album are alternative-rock, crossover masterpieces. But the in-between tracks are just as strong, but in a different way...they have a mellower feel to them. It's just a damn near perfect album. And I haven't even mentioned the production. I'm not sure if a loud, noisy, feedback-drenched rock album ever had this warm of a sound before or after.

I think Adore is a really good album, as well. The band sort of panicked when it did not sell as much, but that was honest artisitic leap forward. Now they are in the nostalgia game and Corgan goes on Alex Jones. The Smashing Pumpkins are basically dead to me now.

I would put Pisces higher actually. Really good B sides album, maybe better than Nirvana's Incesticides (maybe..)
