Does anybody know, he seems to have the symptoms, he did have a rough childhood. Spurs are calling out his fake injuries. I think mentally something is wrong with him, no happiness, never smiles or laughs, jokes. When it came to Free Agency Max Contract only, no discounts, hampering the team.
Does depression make him a Houston Rocket? But yes, he has depression. It's the only explanation for his obsolete braids.
Why would one of the best players in the world take a discount on his first max deal? Literally no one does that.
he might or might not. But none of the observations you listed nor what's noted in the media would indicate symptoms directly related to depression. Statistically though depression is not an uncommon mental health issue so there are probably a number of NBA players suffering from it. It'd be hard to tell for anyone though since it's treatable/manageable.
This thread belongs in the Dish/Hangout, not in the G.A.R.M. .... Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
He wants to get out of San Antonio. He wants to play for the Rockets. It's written on his face. Those who understand the game can easily see it.
I’m with Reeko here...how in Gods green earth could we know for sure? We can’t say that because he did this or does not do that, he has depression.
Not that hard to tell that Ryan Anderson suffers from depression, or at the very least bipolar disorder...
Didn't the dude's dad get murdered and the case never get solved? I'd say he's turned out pretty well given those circumstances.
dude i'm all for jokes but the zoloft part was a bit insensitive. depression is a real disease that people often use as a punchline.
Tell me what you see from Ryno that would lead you to think he suffers from bi-polar. Or depression. Because if you knew the symptoms of bi-polar there’d be no way anyone could draw that conclusion.
You might be but that’s been not what this thread is talking about. It’s a questioning of a person’s mental health. Listen, if you’re trying to be funny about it I get it, but it’s in poor taste. Depression is a serious mental health issue. Bi-polar even more so....people lose their lives and families are destroyed from these things. As others have said in this thread, it’s unfair and unwise to assess or label Kawhi or Ryno with a mental health illness based on such little information.
Tha f*ck? An up and coming elite center and 6th M.O.Y./3pt champ AND 2 1sts for a cripple? You tripping. I thought the zoloft joke was funny. What offended me was that ridiculous trade proposition. BTW depression is a mental disorder. Cancer is a disease.
