This is a ROOKIE move. GSW's realist coach, the GREAT Don Nelson (then with Dallas) once let Avery Johnson coach a game against the Spurs because he was "familiar with the Spurs". Don was butt-chugging Keystone on the sideline.

Good for them! Morey agrees for sure, a coach only makes a difference of about 5 wins / losses per season McHale even more so, he’s the OG, as he let Harden do the playing and coaching!

No doubt. And sadly the media eats it up as "aww sucks, isn't he so funny."

 

Kerr has always played up the 'good guy' image -- in reality he's an intense, irritating man. Kerr got Jordan so irked in a practice one day Mike punched him and wanted to continue, but teammates broke it up.

Kerr said it himself the other day when he became the quickest coach to win 250 games or something... "I inherited a great team".

 

It says that it is an incredibly long season and that guys get tired of hearing the same person say the same thing over and over again.

He found a way to motivate the players to play a random game in the middle of February. It was an awesome idea.

 

Other teams have players only meetings. Warriors have players only games. They are light years ahead.

 

Soon they'll take this Player's Only game further with Stephanie and Cupcake donning skirts as cheerleaders, with the Donkey as mascot.

 

Mark Jackson turned Curry, Green, and Klay into what they are. It's a shame he doesnt have a job as a coach.

 

Great decision by Kerr, this GS team clearly responded well after beating a Booker-less Suns team. Genius...
