Houston doesn’t want to take back bad contracts. 3rd team helps offset the bad contact(s) from coming back to Houston. Nene tidbit caught me totally by surprise. I have seen reports of Houston being interested in D Jordan; but I thought the Rockets were just driving up the cost for those teams looking to trade for D Jordan. I wish the Rockets could trade for Dedmon and allow Nene to move to 3rd string center. Come along for the ride.

Nene is either about to be traded or just simply can’t go anymore. His body looks like it’s done.? The guy busts his tail off but he can barely stay in front of his man on defense. Injuries and age are starting to beat him
yea - maybe he needs a lot of more rest.. Just curious on the trade front- Would Carmelo be able to be traded to the Rockets (Did his no trade clause come along to OKC?) wouldnt a anderson for Carmelo trade be good for both teams?

If u can trade Zach Randolph, it really depends u trade what guys. It is also good to keep ryno, at least he can defense Durrant.
He can barely play these days. Injuries and age. No one can begrudge or accuse Nene of not trying he just looks done
He has a player option that can opt in and it’s something like 27 million which would count against the cap which would handicap our chances of getting lebron

Personally I think everyone was reading the post by @Codman wrong. I think he's mentioned in the past he and Nene speak fairly often, and with this thread being about RYAN, I believe what he meant was something along the lines of "Nene believes Ryan is defeated." It just happened that the phrasing was a bit off/confusing. Even though Nene doesn't look as good as he did last year, I wouldn't go so far as to describe him as "defeated" so in my mind it makes more sense that this was commentary from Nene ABOUT Ryan. I could also be totally wrong, but this scenario seems more likely to me. Thoughts?
