Gordon may be the third most talented
Anderson might be the third most paid

But there is no doubt that Clint is the rockets third most important player .

The clippers made some tough shots tonight . But the rockets defense when Capela is not on the floor has been bad all year . When he's on the floor we are spectacular .

Furthermore Clint gives our offense another dimension as one of the top PnR finisher in the league.

    That is all .

The Rockets are like a car
You might can move with 3 wheels and a temp wheel. . .. but not 2 wheels
EGo, Capela, CP3, and Harded are the wheels to this machine

After harden he is the second most important. Harden can do what Paul gives u but you take Clint off we have no rim protection are a putrid rebound team, can’t a a lick of pick and roll offense and just look clueless on defense. With Clint we are a top 5 rebounding team and a great interior defensive unit.

    Crucial: CP3, Harden
    Important: Capela, EGO.
Serviceable: Ariza, Tucker, Luc, Nene (sometimes)
Bum: Ryno, rest of the lineup.

I'll go as far and say he is 2b.

If CP3 or Harden have him in the lineup it's a W.

Size matters. Clint is 3rd best and important.

If you have superior skills like Harden and Paul, size matters less.

If you have size and skills, you are LeBron and Olajuwon.

    "Clutch" matters too.

CP3 and Clint are most important players to this team. On some days, we do fine without Harden's constant stupid turnovers and putrid defense, but what CP3 and Clint bring to this team on both ends are irreplaceable.

Basically if you have 2 of our BIG THREE we are good

While people compare us to golden state
How many games have they won with 2 of their BIG 4 out?
    Curry and Durant out?
    Draymond and Curry out ?
    Durant and Draymond out??

Celtics seem to be slumping now . . .

I agree with this. While CP3 was out the Rox still played well because Clint was still playing. I think the addition of CP3 makes the Rox a legit championship contender though.

Don’t overlook the impact of not having Luc out there. Biggest on/off defensive differential on the team.

I'd say this is probably true, although you could argue Gordon, as our three guard lineup has been unstoppable and that's without Clint out there.

Without Clint, you take away the lobs. Black isn't consistent with his play and he has low bbiq. Nene is too old to get up for lobs.

Right now, we're completely relying on Harden to create our offense to keep us in games and he's doing it but you just know he's going to take a big dip on the defensive end if this keeps up. We're lucky that EG has somewhat found his groove again, otherwise these losses would be even uglier.

Before, if Harden lets his man drive past him Capela is there to pick up the slack but now it's Nene and Tarik Black guarding the rim.

It's not completely Harden's fault though, our perimeter defense has been atrocious these past 2 games. We're letting role players shoot like Steph Curry from the 3 and if that doesn't change, we're going to keep losing games before we get healthy again.

    Examine our offense

    5 Games a Go
Harden breaks down his man . . . . . defense reacts either the Rim protector comes to harden . .. some side help comes
and his options are Capela over the top . . . CP3/Ego for the three . . Ariza or Anderson for three

    Now . . . . .
Capela is not an option - so the Rim protector is able to stop Harden and The other defenders can stay home.
NeNe and Black are not the threat
No . . .remove CP3 and now you got about 10~6 minutes where the offense is not run by a Hall of Fame guard
Remove our rebounding that Capela offers and Defensive ability

What you got is easily a team that is less than 60% of what we were 5 games ago

I think clint is the 2nd most important after harden. Clint might be the best paint defender in the league. Huge presence.

I actually think the game versus Lakers Clint would have been even more valuable.

Then why the f#%^ do we give Morey a continual pass for not getting a legit backup “big” center. This is a continual problem with this team and needs to be addressed before he spouts off again about how we aim to be up there with the Warriors!
