He's just doing so damn well this year. Shooting over 45% from the field, over 40% from 3, both on career high makes, averaging over a 2-1 assist ratio why damn near leading the league in points and assist (he's .1 assist behind Paul on assist currently). Just so damn impressive. The effeciency for his production so far is bonkers. Witnessing a legend in his prime.
I believe that Michael Jordan could not possibly be the greatest player of all time because Hakeem showed me what greatness could truly be. Right now Harden is messing with my mind. Harden might be better. One playoff series where he balls like he's done during this season and my mind is changed. James Harden might be the greatest basketball player to ever live. He's unreal.
Slow down there, I'm one of Harden's biggest stat fanboys ( I think he will be the #2 SG all time to MJ) but best player ever? He ain't better than LeBron, MJ, Kareem, or Wilt, he has a long ass way to go to be a top 10 player of all time (shaq is #12 for reference)
Hakeem was not mentioned in your post. Hakeem is the greatest basketball player to ever live. Is there an issue there?
https://www.google.com/amp/s/fiveth...-hardens-mvp-campaign-survive-chris-paul/amp/ article had some pretty interesting things about Harden and our offense
One basic stat that has really impressed me this year... 9.7 FGM -- 7.9 FTM He's making nearly 2 more field goals a game than free throws made per game. Now this might not sound like a big deal, but this is what Harden averaged in his Houston career from '13-'17... 8.0 FGM -- 8.7 FTM He averaged less FG's than FT's every year from '13-'17. The "Harden just shoots Free Throws" meme was obviously exaggerated but there was some truth to Harden looking to draw fouls instead of trying to finish. I absolutely love how he's being more assertive with his finishing and not looking for fouls as much. The "Harden Rules" have made him better.
Yeah but look at his teammates... Giannis/Lebron for MVP No I'm not salty, that would be an understatement
James Harden's Win Share Per 48 minutes is at second place of all time, only behind Kareem's 71/72 season. It is higher than the best seasons of Wilt, Jordan, LeBron, and Curry. http://bkref.com/tiny/W4gQH
Before tonight, there were only two games with at least 26 points, 17 assists, and 6 steals in NBA history. James Harden just made the third game tonight. History is made on a daily basis for the Beard! http://bkref.com/tiny/EWNGf
