Scott Pollard and George Lynch. Both playing major roles on winning teams contending for the championship this season. Both solid role players who thrive on doing the dirty work. Both exhibit a great attitude. And, they both fulfill some of the Rockets needs; namely a solid backup centre or possibly starting centre (if Dream retires or leaves), and defensive-minded SF, in the liklihood that Walt and Cato won't stay on board. I'm not sure on the availability of those two players, or their free agency status, but if we cannot acquire or C-Webb or even if we do, one or both of them would be great pick ups. We don't really need that many scorers on this (Webber's biggest asset to us will be his rebounding, defense and inside presence, his scoring will be a bonus). I just love the energy that Pollard brings to the game, and next to Ratliff is my fav young big man in the league. What do u guyz think? ------------------ This message has been brought to you by: DocRiverPhoenixSunScreen@
I was thinking more along the lines of Patterson from Seattle and JYD if we lose the Webber sweepstakes ------------------ Calvin Murphy for President!
I would rather George Lynch than Anderson and I think Pollard has alot of heart and would be a great pickup. He is not as athletic as Cato but I would take him over Cato in a second. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
Lynch is a hell of a rebounder, and CAN score when needed. The great thing about Lynch to me is, he is not greedy. He plays within his team's system, and he let's the game and the opportunities come to him. Rarely have I seen Lynch force a bad shot or turn the ball over. ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
didnt scott pollard since a extension with the Kings? That is what i thought i read recently... ------------------
