    He can write, he has writing credits on 30 Rock

    He is funny, he used to do stand-up comedy

    He can act, he is going to star as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars movie next year, and he won a Emmy for his work as a lead actor on Atlanta

    He can direct, he won a Emmy for his directing work on Atlanta

    He can rap, his rap album Because The Internet is pretty good and also got nominated for a Grammy

    He can sing, his R&B album Awaken My Love received multiple Grammy nominations this year, including best album, and he's a shoe-in to win at least one of his nominations

    There's nothing that this man isn't good at, it's almost absurd. He's a creative savant.

    How could one forget to mention Community? I think it's pretty widely accepted by peers/celebrities that he is a jack of all trades, except that rather than being proficient in all things, he is exceptional at them.

    Community is my favorite TV show but I'm not sure his performance was exceptional in it. In terms of TV, Atlanta is more impressive.

    I'm not really a huge fan of him as a hip-hop artist. I think he's an alright rapper, but I usually don't really like the beats that he chooses to use. Now with that being said, "Awaken, My Love!" is great. Just a really enjoyable Funk/Soul record.

    As to the main question of this thread, I'd say he is. As both a creator and a performer, he's really killing it right now.

    I'm so so on Because The Internet but ya'll are 100% correct... Awaken, My Love! is superb. "Redbone" is one easily one of my favorite songs ever.

    OP is right. Super, duper talented. He started in 30 Rock's writing room at like 23 and that show was/is so funny... jokes on jokes on jokes.
