    Short answer, no. They have a better chance at getting the top pick in the draft than they do making the playoffs.

    I will be rooting for them to make the play-offs. I really don’t want to give them a crack at a top 3-5 pick to pair with Smith for the next decade.

    No, I don't think so. I wonder if they have their first round pick? If they do, they may as well try to make it a good one. They need to rebuild. I hope they make a bad job of it.

    What are you even talking about? Last year the closest they got was 8 games below .500 (and they finished 16 games below .500). They were never in contention for the 8th seed.
