I have been waiting for the Sacramento Kings to choke. I mean, not just lose a couple games in a row, but really choke. Could this be the beginning? It may sound unlikely, but the games that the Kings lost at home this season totaled 5, by a combined 17 points. Tonight they really choked. With Kobe out, Shaq in major foul trouble, and a nice 11-point lead in the third quarter at home, the Kings miss 15 straight field goals while the Lakers score 18 unanswered points and Shaq dominates the fourth. You know, this is the first game I can remember that I'm cheering for Shaq, but tonight, I was all for him. I REALLY want the Kings to drop a lot of games, lose confidence, and lose in the first round. C-Webb views his options (the Rockets finish strong), and, well, read my signature. ------------------ Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go: "It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong."
