You said OKC is built for the playoffs because they are elite defensively and I gave you an example that being elite defensively doesn’t mean you are built for the playoffs. I will give you another example, the Rockets under JVG are also elite defensively. They never reached 2nd round.

 

I agree, Memphis has been in the top ten in defense for most of the last couple of seasons except for one and they still haven't done **** in the playoffs. IMO it is too soon to start predicting. Every team is one injury away from being ****ed.

 

What I just don’t get is that Beadle is talking about one game, what about all the other games he wasn’t cookin last season? She’s a die hard spurs fan so who cares !!!!

 

I've moved past Game 6 in the sense that I no longer wake up out of a nightmare in a cold sweat because of the damn thing, but forgotten it? How could we? One can move on without forgetting, though, which the mentally challenged chick that inexplicably has a broadcast job, giving her a platform for babbling inane BS, particularly about Harden and the Rockets, has not managed, likely due to an agenda that doesn't include a contending Rockets team.

It's gives her too good a tool for belittling Harden and his amazing accomplishments on a team she clearly rates lower than her toilet, regardless of how we're playing. Considering myself a feminist (I love and respect women, so sue me!), it pains me to call her what I consider the chick to be, a sports network bimbo that doesn't deserve her job.

Whatever happened to the attractive, highly intelligent female sportscasters like Hannah Storm? I loved watching her cover the League, particularly the Rockets, a team she clearly had a thing for in the '90's, an attraction driven, in my opinion, by their elite level of play and the personalities on the team, guys like Dream and ET. Why aren't good female sportscasters covering the League like a blanket? Network bias? I want more "Hannah Storms" of the current generation! Heck, Hannah isn't in her late twenties any longer, but I'd enjoy seeing her cover the NBA a hell of a lot more than the silicone inflated dingbats Beadle represents so well.

 

Didn't Storm start out in Houston media, or am I mixing her up with someone else...

I was very disappointed with Harden's game 6, too, but the good news is that the Rockets have an upgraded roster, so hopefully if Harden starts stinking up the gym in the playoffs there will be someone to come to the rescue instead of the entire team shrugging their shoulders and going home.
