Thanks for mentioning this. I love it as well and have always wondered why it gets bashed so much.

Man, You and I have similar tastes. Some other ones I really liked that people around me seem to hate

    Legally Blonde
    Matrix Reloaded
    Waking Life
    Dare Devil

    I'll second Contact and Unbreakable.
    Planet of the Apes (remake)
Swingers and Adaptation I both really liked, but it seems like no one I know has seen them.

Are you kidding me? UHF has a huge cult following. It was just lambasted by the first Batman movie back in '89.

    For me:

    Starship Troopers
    Titan: AE
    Loony Tunes: Back in Action
    Spice World

Barry Lyndon and Marnie - 2 underrated classics from Kubrick and Hitchcock that are always described as failures, but are really not.

    Johnny Dangerously.

When this film came out in the early 80s, it was panned by everyone, and ridiculed by some critics. Everytime I watch it, I double over in laughter.

You lousy cork-suckers. You have violated my fargin' rights. This suminonbatching country was founded so that the liberties of common patriotic citizens, like me, could not be taken away by a bunch of fargin' ice holes, like yourselves. You Fargin' Bastitches!
