I read an article from realgm.com. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/247940/Kristaps-Porzingis-Brother-Warns-Knicks-Over-Treatment It seems Porzingis patience with New York is running thin. Salaries are close, both on rookie contracts. If he demands a trade, should Houston to try coax him here? discuss i apologize for not going into too much detail. So the original post is now edited to appease to the thread vultures who jump on new threads and new ideas. Yet out of possible fear some of them dont post any new threads or new ideas themselves because the other vultures will flame them. Back on topic, obviously the trade will be built around Clint, you maybe have to throw in some other players. Sadly we gave up a lot for CP3. Also there have been a lot of bad trades done in the NBA, look at how we got Harden. And at the same time NY doesnt have a great track record of having really good GM's. So once again please discuss.
Poor Capela. His named is misspelled in a thread title yet again by a Houston fan. And Porzingis was spelled correctly so sad
are you serious, your title is too stupid, if the knicks do it, their full, entire front office needs to be fired..........
If the New York Knicks were stupid enough to trade Porzingis for Capela, you take that deal before they sober up. (So many teams would be able to beat any deal we would make. Nothing against Capela, but Porzingis the Unicorn....)
What is there to discuss? No disrespect to Capela who is a fine young player, but NY would have to be truly stupid to engage in that trade and while they have had their mistakes for decades now, the current NY GM isn't stupid enough to take pennies on the dollar given NY is in a far better leveraging position than they were in the Melo trade(when they at least took Nickels on the dollar).
this can’t be a serious thread, no way there isn’t even anything to discuss...Porzingis for Capela will never happen
I would only do it if they also throw in Jeremy Lin. I realize they don’t have Jeremy Lin, so I would wait out for them to make a trade with the nets to get him and only then would I make the trade.
Would need Porzingis to sign with the Cleveland Browns first to be able to pull something like that off. Just cross your fingers that they don’t botch the paperwork.
I think KP will sign an extension with NY and then they’ll either have to trade him as his 2nd contract is ending or lose him for nothing in free agency...it shouldn’t be too hard for another organization to convince Porzingis that they can build a better team around him than NY can he could be the new face of our franchise once Harden’s contract is up and James is approaching his mid-30’s...but that’s years away as of now, the only thing that could get us Porzingis in a trade is James Harden
