    Brown is under contract for next year while Garopolo is a Free Agent, Cletus.

    Pats did well here. 33rd/34th pick instead of losing him for a comp pick in 2019.

    49ers are 0-8 and currently projected to pick 2nd overall in the draft so they weren't going give a 1st for Garoppolo.

    Therefore, that 2nd rounder will most likely be at the top of the 2nd round, which Belichick loves because he can draft 1st round talent at the top and not pay them first round contract money like he did with Jamie Collins.

    This is great trade for both teams.

    Browns reportedly offered a 2nd for jimmy g at the draft.

    Wouldn’t be surprised if hoyer heads back to NE

    If you think about it that 2nd rounder is worth a first round pick if it belongs to the Niners.
