what happened to this offense???? 4 runs through 24 innings is putrid, doesn't matter who's pitching. i wasn't going to be shocked had we lost, i simply wanted to see us plate 4 or 5 runs to know our bats were still with us. we can't have verlander and keuchel pitch 1 run gems every game.

 

What a snoozefest this game is. Hopefully all those Yankee fans are as bored as I am.

I don't know when the astros' bats are going to wake up or will they ever wake up.

 

Let’s not kid ourselves, Yanks have been extremely fortunate to score these 8 runs. It’s not like they’ve been clobbering the ball. The circumstances that lead to HRs were BS.

However, I am very concerned about our offense. Either we are choking or opponents have figured out how to pitch our guys. I just don’t see very many quality ABs so far in this series.

I'm officially worried about this offense.

 

I think they are choking a little. Let some fat pitches go by like they are over thinking out there against Sabathia.

 

I think final is 5-8.

 

The worst part is they are giving away at-bats. They are taking terrible swings at bad pitches.

 

Time for this lineup to eat. Top of the order after Maybin. It's time.

 

Astros channeling their inner 1998 playoff performance against the Padres and making CiCi looking like Kevin Brown. Hinch overthought this game and blew up in his face.

 

It certainly seems like they're due to put up a crooked number here soon.

 

I am not worried about our bats at all. Most guys are still swinging the bats pretty well.

AJ needs to stay away this king of lefty righty bullish,t and just keep his regular lineup.

Sonny Gray is very hittable and I have lots of confidence on Peacock.

 

He hasn't pitched in a while. We got Lance, Peacock, and virtually everybody else tomorrow, then DK and JV. We probably won't need Collin again until Game 7, if it goes that far.
