    Yeah, doubt anyone ever thought Beltran was a better option from a performance standpoint. He was just a short term bandaid. At this point I don't see how you don't carry an extra catcher and let Gattis DH in the playoffs. This idea of "playoff" Beltran is not something I want to rely on when trying to win playoff games.

    Since the end of last season I was advocating for two guys: Reddick and Encarnacion. I thought getting those guys for a three year run made this lineup dynamic. Take Edwin off the Indians and you have a huge hole in their lineup.

    Give credit to the Indians. They've been opportunistic and scooped up Edwin and then added a near 100 RBI guy in Bruce for nothing to really make their lineup dangerous.

    Of course we have a shot but if Springer, Altuve (neither of whom showed up for 2015 ALDS) or Correa don't show up, it won't make much of a difference who is our DH.
