Tri-City with another walk-off win. Jake Adams tied the game at 2 with a solo homer (7) and Miguelangel Sierra won it with an RBI single that scored Jonathan Arauz.

Fresno Tacos lay claim to professional baseball's HR lead.

Walsh, 27, made his MLB debut as a Rule 5 draft pick with Milwaukee last season, but went 4/47 with a double and 2 RBI before the Brewers returned him to Oakland. He then signed with the Braves in the offseason before being released near the end of Spring Training. The D-Backs signed him shortly before the minor league season began and sent him to AA. He was slashing .273/.421/.479 with Jackson (D-Backs) before he was released last month.

Rogelio Armenteros has made 5 starts for Fresno and he's won them all.

He allowed 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 9 in 5.2 innings as the Grizzlies blanked Omaha 5-0 tonight.

Tri-City was on the wrong end of a no-hitter in their 2-0 loss to Staten Island.

So, is Armenteros a real prospect?

Yes, not in the sense of a guy who could be a star, but a useful role player at the MLB level.

Gilberto Celestino went 2-4 with an RBI in both games of Greeneville's doubleheader with Bristol.

He also stole a couple of bases in the second game, making him 8/9 in stolen base attempts this year.

I'd think so, surprised he hadn't jumped higher than 27 on MLB Pipeline's new Top 30

It makes sense when you read their description. They gave him average stuff, average command, said he could be #5 or middle reliever soon. Doesn't seem like they're too optimistic about him despite showing he can pitch well

J.B. Bukauskas started today in the GCL. He had 2 SO and let 1 hit & 1 walk in the bottom of the 1st before the game was suspended for rain.

J.B. Bukauskas made his pro debut today: IP, H, BB, 2 K

The GCL Astros' game with the Nationals was suspended due to rain; they were leading 1-0 heading into the 2nd.

also: who's this guy trying to jump in on the game

For a guy who gets knocked on stuff, he's averaged just about 10 Ks/9 everywhere he's pitched. Seems like he could be a depth rotation pitcher next year and see where he goes from there.

He would be top 10 in most orgs.

To think he cant improve is crazy.

Abraham Toro-Hernandez's bat has broken out a bit this year. He hit a solo homer for Quad Cities, which gives him 3 since he joined the River Bandits and 9 in 35 games between QC and Tri-City.

I'm mostly impressed with the strikeout numbers - he has consistently hit 10+ K/9 throughout his entire Minor League career, and has succeeded at every level.

Maybe his ceiling isn't high, but with low-mid 90's speed and 5 different pitches, I think his stuff is better than he gets credit for. And his floor is higher than a lot of prospects in our system, I don't think he should be top 5 or anything but 27 seems pretty low.

Alvarez, Rogers, Benedetti, Celestino, Nova, Toro...a lot of good upward trajectories in the lower levels. Hell, even Ronnie Dawson is posting a 123 wRC+ in QC.
