I mean, what were u expecting OP? How the hell should we know when he'll get traded? I think it will happen before training camp, but that's just a guess. Until more info is given out by people like Woj, Shams, or Ramona we really don't have much to go off of in terms of predicting when this thing will finally happen.
Seriously... i'm thinkin he aint gonna get dealt until the trade deadline at midseason - or maybe a little earlier.... Realistically, the Knicks aren't gonna get any decent offers... so they'll play hardball and posture like they're gonna keep him for the season... by midseason some exec will be under pressure and feel the need to make a move - any move... and will then be willing to be the 3rd team to take Ryno's contract... i'm betting Portland... If I were the Knicks I would rather let Melo walk for nothing than take on crappy contract to move him earlier... imo if Ryno gets moved, it's gonna be because some exec has gotten desperate - and aint nobody desperate at this point...except for CFers - aint nobody else gives a flip about our desperation... lol

Melo will sign by Friday. If not this Friday the Friday after next Friday. But definitely on a Friday.
