    Ariza helped with recruiting Chris Paul. The Rockets are not trading Ariza and risk pissing off Chris Paul. And Ariza actually may help this team more than Carmelo does.

    Yeah me too, but I think Gordon is obviously the more enticing piece. And I think Ariza has good chemistry and would be big in a potential golden state match up.

    Just checked and Lee shot 40% from 3 last year and has been consistently good over his career.

    If it came down to that I think I'd pull the trigger.

    I'd pull the trigger and not look back. We'd miss Gordon's shooting but Lee is a better defender and ain't bad from the perimeter either

    I wonder if we threw in Ariza plus Anderson would that get it done? 2 of Lebron's best friends on the same team and he happens to be free next summer. Worth the risk imo. Ariza seems like a good guy but if I can get melo and increase my chance in landing lebron next summer then bye bye trev.

    I really hope we don't give up EG in this scenario. IMO getting a 3way trade. with clev is best. We get love. Anderson to NY. Melo to Clev works best

    So yeah we definitely wait. That is the wisest decision, even if it's not the most exciting decision. We can wait till the deadline before offering more or being patient in finding a taker for Anderson. Morey I'm sure knows this. We are going to win 60+ with or without Melo. Let's see how patient the Knicks are, and it gives Melo time to settle his family situation.

    We're good. Cleveland is not going to suddenly acquire better assets. If they offer Love, they offer Love, nothing we can do about that.

    The way the conferences are shaping up, the West should be having an All-Star game damn near every day with all the super teams forming.

    And... I'm not liking our chances right now of getting Melo, but what the hell do I know...
