Spurs game 1 tickets 60$
Cavs game 1 tickets 55$
Celtics game 1 tickets 60$
ROCKETS GAME 3 TICKETS 120$

I went to every team website to try and purchase tickets. These were the cheapest ones I could find at the time. What justification is there for the Rockets to charge double that of other contenders?

The Flashseat issue is a very interesting one and I don't doubt that it has something to do with what we saw last night, but I think the post above is the main cause.

Its actually a larger "problem", one in which the Rockets, season ticket holders, regular fans, and the on-line platform "Flasheats" are all in collusion and in which they all benefit. The only "losers" in the scheme are the players on the court and the atmosphere in the arena in the early minutes. And, believe it or not, the issue of "late arriving crowds" is not (entirely) that prices are too high, but that they are being driven too low.

The other NBA teams that use Flashseats are Cavaliers, Clippers, Lakers, Nuggets, Jazz

I don't think these teams have had issues with late crowds, having watched recent games involving teams in this year's playoffs (Cavs, Clips, Jazz).

It seems to be just a Houston thing.
