We played better losing this Game 2 than winning the last Game 2

I stand corrected, maybe it was the memory of that possession where they got 3 offensive rebounds in the fourth that destroyed our hopes that stood out because we were too small

i think if Kawhi is playing at the level he played last night on both ends of the floor, which i think he can come close to doing, and you are going to rely on gordon, lou, and ryan to beat you over the course of 7 games series, the spurs strategy will likely prevail.

I dont think our defense was all that bad last night.

It is just, on the opposite end, i don't think we have any one we can put on Kawhi. He really can shoot that well from mid-range, and beyond consistently.

Your defense relies on making baskets, essentially.

This. We scored 13 to their 33 in the 4th.

In the end the Rockets did a pretty good job yesterday imo, even without Harden they were down 5 after 36 minutes with the Spurs playing at their best...the start of the 4th was just terrible, they were too soft and slow, they should've play better, Manu and Pau were running and jumping all over us, i mean...

Yes, exactly. I don't know if the Rockets were somehow tired, if they'd been out too late, or what happened. But they had decent intensity, poise, and energy through 3 quarters. But at the start of the 4th they were completely out-hustled. It could be that San Antonio sensed the change to even the series and just had a surge of energy because of that, or that the Rockets were deflated because despite playing pretty well they still hadn't passed the Spurs. I don't know but something happened. It could be any combination of things, or just one of those nights. It might be worth checking out if there is a reason for it or not.
