Consider only the time playing for the Rockets..thus no Artest, #33 in my list

    C-Hakeem
    PF-Thorpe
    SF-Horry
    SG-Maxwell
    PG-Beverley

    See the pattern. :)

    C - Dream
    PF - Sampson
    SF - Horry
    SG - Mad Max
    PG - Wolverine

Swapping Thorpe for Sampson to pay homage to the Twin Towers.

    Playing today's NBA, I'd go:

    C-Hakeem
    PF-Horry
    SF-Battier
    SG-Maxwell
    PG-Beverley

Sorry I cant leave Artest out. The man finally took our team to the second round and gave Kobe and the Lakers a hard time.

Also I am going to shift Hakeem to PF to form a really formidable defensive team.

    C - Mutombo
    PF - Hakeem
    SF - Artest
    SG - Maxwell
    PG - Beverley

Go ahead. Try scoring against this team.

Each one is a good one on one defender and team defender.

Two of all time best shot blockers.

Passing lanes covered by Hakeem, Artest, Maxwell, and Beverley.

And plenty, I mean PLENTY of craziness between Artest, Maxwell, and Beverley. Trash talking alone would kill 75% of the opponents even before the game would start.

Those who would pass the first line of defense (lol...as if) would be treated to a healthy dosage of...

    Finger Swagging.

    But honestly

What's crazy is that team would also be pretty damn good offensively working inside and out to Hakeem.

Man I'd love to see a game with Artest, Maxwell, and Beverley playing together.
