Let me preface this with I really like Dekker. He's got great potential, and has proven NBA level skills. What I'm about to say should not be construed as "hating on him". He played 5 minutes this game, and none in the second half. I don't fault him for not being able to contain LeBron, but he was a huge negative across the board. This was a playoff like game, and he didn't look ready. We need Omri Casspi....his shooting, defense and experience make him a better bet for the playoffs.
Dekker has to get back to shooting that high arch shot. It's what works for him. He was a much better shooter in college too. Don't know if Casspi will be ready and able to gel in time to mesh with us for the playoffs.
I remembered him being someone that gets a lot of fouls because he can't take a charge and could not move his feet laterally....
Dekker doesn't shoot well enough at this point to warrant getting much playing time. Wings who can't shoot will eventually be benched or traded on a team like the Rox.
He needs to spend the off season shooting 1500 three's a day. If he develops a good stroke. His value for us will skyrocket.
Yeah good luck. Dekker Seller is an untouchable around here Never mind he has no shot, too slow to guard 3's and too small to guard 4's
At this rate, by the end of the month, the ranking on Clutchfans will be Hakeem, Jordan, Wilt, then Casspi ...
Tonight is pretty much the playoff rotation. Going 8 deep truly on most games. 9 being dekker for a couple minutes in situations. Harrell possibly if nene/Capella struggle
Brewer is gone. I knew Dekker was in line for most hated. Dekker really has the worst looking shot on the team. He should play the center position, that way he is never on the perimeter.
