    the difference is that George was a good person surrounded by a few terrible people and he took their awful advice. Trump is a terrible person surround by a lot of terrible people and it doesn't matter if he listens to them or not.

    But also the memory of a global financial meltdown, multiple trillions more in debt and an irreversibly destabilized Middle East that made Trump's ascent that much more dangerous.
