    It's weird to see a speech like that talking about his enemies working against the American people when he just got elected and has control of both houses of congress.

    I think bill kristol said it best: my expectations were low but a month in and it's worse than I imagined

    I (very stupidly) thought that maybe he used the divisive techniques to get elected but then he would try a few populist moves to broaden his support and stay in power for 8 years. But he's doubling down on turning American against American.

    I guess he'll really test just how committed his core followers are. Put another way, when will some people realize they've bet pre-flop on deuce five unsuited, watched a flop of King Queen Jack, and are now hearing someone asking them to go all in? Maybe they were all in before the flop so are just cheering for two fives on the turn and the river.

    Well you can take away that Sweden had a terror attack last night that the lying media won't cover. And that Tucker Carlson is very honorable man that left can't handle. Sad.

    It's painfully obvious that he wants nothing to do with the actual job of governing as President. He wants the bully pulpit to spout his inanities and insanities, and to bash his perceived enemies. He needs the cheering crowds and the trappings of the office to feed his fragile ego.
