    @Hey Now! I have to join the chorus of praise for your efforts. Fantastic work for a very worthy candidate. You've done the Astros, The City of Houston and MLB proud... and you've helped to correct one of the more egregious omissions from the hall.

    I've been checking http://baseballhall.org/hof/bagwell-jeff every few hours since I remember that working last year for Griffey the day before the announcement came out. No luck so far.

    Congrats to Bagwell. Well deserved for one of our greatest ever Houston sports icons.

    Hopefully neither. IIRC, Baggy has struggled with substance abuse problems after his retirement. I saw him downtown a few years ago and he looked to be in pretty bad shape. He was clearly high on something. I pray and hope he's gotten better since then.
