Man, this has to be the single worst contract negotiation any player has ever had LOL.

I wish him the best, always loved his game, and he seems like a cool dude. But a lot of this falls on his shoulders for continuing to take some comically bad advice.

How do you go from a $7 million offer to a $600k offer for the rest of the season?

Dmo and his agent are idiots. He could of just taken the QO and played in a great system that would have inflated his stats and gotten him a better deal next summer, but instead chose to challenge Morey. Daryl rarely folds unless he really really likes you (re: Scola contract).

stop counting money. there is something behind scenes that DMo don't want play for Rockets at any cost...

He got 1.1 for the rest of the season - and if he does well, he will get paid in the offseason - at least the saga is over.

Now what to do with my DMo Bobblehead, jersey, and plaque that my wife got me for Christmas?

    :)

DMo should have stopped counting money when Houston didn't include Brooklyn's incentives in the matching offer.

Be sure to reserve an advance if it's possible. It's a small room and we expect to have good pre-sales. Would hate for you to miss out because it was sold out. So happy you can make it.

We have to see if he plays first.

This is so strange. if he had stayed with us he would have made so much more money, and even if he really wanted to leave he would have had a very reasonable contract for a trade in just a few months, specially if he did actually play well for us, we would had been able to trade him, he would have made good money and played somewhere else like it seems he wanted so badly. Now he has a tiny contract, and if he sucks or gets injured again he is screwed next summer.

He only signed 1 yr deal with Pelicans, which means Rockets might still be able to get him back in the Summer IF we give him what he wants. As he should know very well now that Rockets is the only one who really values him much ;)

Or maybe his back is completely ****ed up and Houston found out and dumped his ass. Fir as good as many on here make him out to be only having 1 team offer you a contract and it to only be for the vet min just screams health risk.
