    Born in Mexico, crossed the border as a baby, wetback...grew up in the Eastside....Reeko is correct about Mexicans attitude towards Cubans (I also LOL @ the GOP for nominating Cubans)...mostly the old school Mexicans....now on to Politics...me and my girl have discussions about how oblivious the Republican party is about minority issues...what's the most important thing to us? Family...when you have a party that threatens to deport some of your hard working relatives, who the f#*#* do you think we're going to vote for? Love is strong

    I'm Cuban-American... I know my mom, her sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins got a comparatively "easy" break when it came to becoming US citizens. In the process of leaving their country though, they also lost the hospital my grandfather built, owned and operated. They lost all of their money and possessions. They lost their home... they've never been back to see what was left behind. Point is leaving your home country because of political or economic strife is no picnic and it leaves generational scars... regardless of where or what you're coming from.
